Better for older kids

My family loved this movie - even the grumpy 17 year old! Loved the music, story and humour. There is one character that is like a gangster that could be frightening for younger kids, definitely a movie for older kids. Better than the first installment.

This is a prime example of a movie that should not have been created. There is nothing 'wrong' or 'inappropriate' about the movie, it is just plain annoying! I like musicals but this is just a bit too far. The writing is awful, but this movie is obviously a cash-grab so it doesn't matter as long as someone is entertained.

DO NOT WATCH THIS MOVIE.

It was so scary. I was terrified when that elderly lizard veered away from the road and drove off into the grass. I am an elderly myself, and I find this very offensive to us older generation. And its sad to think that you guys all think we drive that way. I took my 15 year old grandson to the movie, and he saw that driving scene, turned towards me, and said, "Grandmother, is that really the correct way to drive?". This movie was a terrible influence on teens. The animation was absurd. I am very disappointed in the producers. I will be reading multiple reviews before I see a movie from now on. Very disappointed. I would not take my grandchildren or any type of loved one to see this movie.

Musical family fun

Great fun for all the family. Parents need to be aware that the story is around helping a character get out of a depression after his wife died. But a lovely uplifting end.

Too dark for my kids - it upset them

It was very musical and often fun, and yet there were dark/negative themes throughout. For example, there was a very intense mean spirited wolf who attempted murder on the main character. He was very scary to my 6 year old son. Some Characters had very negative and they didn’t feel good to watch. Many times my son said he didn’t like this movie and was upset by it. We go for movies that are inspiring and loving and make us feel great. This one was not at all that kind of movie.
